Happy New Year To All.

I hope everyone is doing well after the christmas jollies and you all enjoyed yourself, I know I did but hey ho....

Well, it's a new year and time to get back to the grind. Over the backend of December I completely failed to do anywork on the site as I needed to have a break and I was kinda happy with things. I'm now gonna get back to finishing of all the functionality that is still outstanding and then I can make a start on changing the design.

I have received a new layout from the graphics god and have started work on implementing this into the test site we now have and when done, will port it across. It looks slicker and nicer. Cheers

Interest in the site is increasing so i'd just like to say thanks to everyone for your interest.

I've installed a geomap to help pinpoint our visitors and this is currently standing at a very low number, however during the December period we had roughly 243,000 visitors so hopefully it won't take too long before the map looks a bit more busy.

Who are we?

Basically, we are a new service for unsigned band/artists and what we want to do is to help you get your music/info/poems etc out there for everybody to pickup. We are currently a free service and we don't expect any binding contracts either. WE LOVE MUSIC and that's what we want to work with.
If you want to read about our services then click on the "What We Do" Tab above. We also want to put your music out on CD/DVD and any profits that are made will be distributed the bands with a small amount reserved for maintenance/upgrades for thedemopage.
Well, things are going well here at THEDEMOPAGE and the coding is nearly done with some enhancements being done in the background to make both the site secure and also fast and slick, not forgetting the layout which will be changing soon to give the site a more slick look and with that in mind I can now start my next project.

We are now recruiting artists and bands of all genre for music publication and what that means in simple terms is.

1. You can either upload or send us your music.
2. We then get your permission to publish your music on CD/DVD.
3. We then create and distribute a compilation CD/DVD.
4. And all proceeds are split equally between all the bands/artists on the CD/DVD
5. You don't pay a penny, there's no contract and your not bound to us in anyway.
6. We don't care were you live, you can live in France, Spain, Sweden, New Zealand etc. We just want you music to publish.
6. It's that simple.

And to kick start it we're gonna start making the first CD/DVD this week and this will be up for sale shortly.
The cd/dvd will be split into 2 parts, a data part and the music part.
The data part will contains links back to THEDEMOPAGE and your profile that we will create for you and this will be playable on any computer. Basically what it is the Spring Widget Plugin which can be played on any desktop/laptop and will allow your fans to be kept up-to-date with the profile stored here at Thedemopage.
The Music Part will be the music that is on the cd/dvd and this can be played in any cd/dvd player.

Artist of the Moment..

Has to be Scrit Scratt. Scritt Scrat is a high energy, sexually driven, in-your-face, glam pop punk band based in the U.K. Formed in 2000 by bassist/guitarist/vocalist Kiko Rivers, he quickly enlisted his brother Curly to help with backing vocals and lyrics. The two began writing songs and soon, together, they found drummer and backing vocalist Dezi Diamond on the internet. The band has recorded eight CDs to date and plans for more recording projects are in the future.
