We used to be called www.thedemopage.com but not so long back we decided to get a new name and have started revamping and getting the site up to date. We have also moved servers. We have been very busy lately and over the last 4 weeks, have done lots of work and mods to the site to make it as usable as possible. Lots of functionality now works including multi file uploads, libaries have been enhanced, rss feeds are made from your libraries for portability and our media player has been enhanced. Every file you upload can be now be classed as Public or Private. We have also added a new section for people to leave comments and other pages provided of course your a friend. Security wise, you must now log in to view other pages. page calls are now monitored for security reasons and any violation or site hack will result in a perma ban on the ip address and this can be extended to the country if violations continue. Use the site to it's full but don't hack please. All files on the site now have an option to be flagged as illegal and if there are any copyright issues then use the illegal option to flag the file. We don't want any copyright issues so please, only upload what you own or are willing to put into the open directory but add as much info as you like. We are note a warez site :). ************************** There is now a test account for people to play with. A Demo LibraryThese are the demo libraries from our test page which anybody can view. The Library image is the first picture in the queue. You can have unlimited libraries with unlimited media files, which can be uploaded via your control panel and you can also edit your media online. Click an image. Do you see the  icon in each gallery? then click it. then click the options tab. You can get the code to embed the feed into the social networking sites here or use the email option to send it to a friend. Try it. Email it to yourself.There is a link  to the feed itself.Some of the new features I have recently added involve the merging of the image Gallery and Audio Library into "Libraries". All Libraries now have RSS Feeds to help you share your content and you can password protect the feeds. Files marked as PRIVATE will not be included. This means that if you do update these sections then the feeds will also be updated. I have also decided to use the Springwidget alot on the site because I think it's a fantastic little widget and will provide a nice role in sharing your media (if you want it to be shared). To have a look at how the widget is used on the site then visit My Test Page and look at the Libraries/Showcase media and look for the and click the icon. Once open look at the options button. From there you can get the code to embed this nifty little widget into many social sites and if you download the software from springwidget then you can undock the widget and have it on your desktop.This of course means you no longer need to visit a webpage to look at peoples Libraries. You can also create your own music widget and listen to them from anywhere as the widget will play most media types. The other aspect here some of you may be worried about is the privacy of these widgets. Well, can now have a password on a library. You can also email the springwidget to friends and family and even embed it into faceook, myspace bebo etc. Now, the clever thing here is that once ou have embedded the springwidget or emailed it to someone then once you update your media and rebuild the feeds then the springwidget will be automatically updated no matter where it is.
